By posting guidelines for activities to preserve the environment, the purpose of activities by KYB is clearly established.
1.
We will observe laws and regulations or official commitments relating to the environment. We will establish and pursue the objectives further.
2.
We will contribute to the development engineering, production engineering, saving of energy and natural resources and recycling in business activities, and to the construction of recycling society.
3.
Focusing on five environmental refresh elements (*), we will continuously materialize, maintain, and improve the comfortable plant and office environment.

Entire KYB group will obtain, maintain, and enhance certification for the environmental management system.

By continuously conducting environmental audits, we will provide training and improve awareness of the environment within the entire KYB group including affiliated companies and overseas subsidiaries.

By opening our plants to communities, we will promote communication with the communities and contribute to society as a good corporate citizen.
Annual objectives are established in accordance with the "3rd Mid-term Environmental Policies," and the entire group is actively working on the objectives.

-ESubstances emitted from our manufacturing and other activities are defined as waste and it is classified into general waste and metal scrap.
-EEnergy consumption is computed by converting electricity and fuels consumed to crude oil based on the method defined in the so-called Energy Saving Act, and the sum is indicated as the total energy consumed.
-EUnit consumption is computed based on the amount of production shipped.
