How we Deal with Conflict Minerals
In the Conflict-affected areas of the Democratic Republic of the Congo or an adjoining country in Africa, the four minerals (tantalum, tungsten, tin and gold) that produced in this area have been classified as conflict minerals. Companies are asked to confirm that these minerals are not being purchased and used as source of funding for armed insurgents, which in turn will contribute to the violation of human rights in conflict regions.
KYB and KYB group companies agree with the intent of the Dodd-Frank Act from the perspective of CSR, and shall cooperate with customers and clients in moving forward with the non-use of conflict minerals.
